About Mike Scott
Mike Scott brings over four decades of expertise in residential home building and construction financing to his role as Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of BYOB Home Loans. With a passion for empowering individuals to achieve their dream of home ownership, Mike has been instrumental in shaping the vision and mission of BYOB Home Loans.
Mike also serves as President of Construction Financial Solutions [CFS]. Founded in 1994, CFS provides interim construction financing for custom homes. His extensive experience in construction financing has equipped him with a deep understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities in the home building industry.
Prior to co-founding BYOB Home Loans, Mike served as Founder and President of BuiltSmart Resources, LLC, a group of companies specializing in zero-energy custom homes, solar energy systems, rainwater harvesting, and spray foam insulation. Under his leadership, BuiltSmart has constructed several award-winning zero-energy homes in the Texas Hill Country, earning recognition for innovation and sustainability.
